About Connie

Dr. Connie Wilmarth came to Bushnell in 2008, drawn by the opportunity to teach mathematics in small, student-centered Christ-focused classes. She has been abundantly blessed with students who have graduated with their degree in Mathematics and who have gone on to make their professional dreams come true. Prior to Bushnell, Connie worked as a graduate teaching assistant, and also taught classes at local community colleges while completing her doctoral research at the University of California at Davis.

Connie lives in Eugene and belongs to a local church. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, and generally being outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys playing with her cat, spending time with family, reading, and classical music. Connie Wilmarth has been teaching at NCU since 2008. Her courses include the standard sequence taken by all math majors as well as advanced special topics and introductory classes geared towards students who are heading towards careers in non-mathematical fields.
