Living on campus allows you to be a part of a vibrant community with so many opportunities for meeting others and making new friends. Our residence halls are all staffed with full-time Residence Directors who provide another layer of intentional support and connection.

Campus Ministry at Bushnell

We invest in the spiritual formation of our students so you can grow in your relationship with Christ. Our community participates in regular chapel and small groups. Students also practice our Christian faith by regularly serving our neighbors alongside local ministries and partners.

Music & Performing Arts

No matter what you’re studying, all Bushnell students can participate in any of our five music performance ensembles. We have roles for all levels of performers, whether you’re an experienced performer or looking to try something new.

Beacon Athletics

The Bushnell Beacons compete in 13+ varsity sports as part of the NAIA’s Cascade Collegiate Conference. Our unique “Tri-Athlete” model promotes academic excellence, character development and athletic performance.

The Beacon Athletics program is built on a strong foundation of servant leadership, character development and Christian discipleship.

We are committed to your success at college–even beyond the classroom! Bushnell offers many services designed to support student metal health, wellbeing and academic support.

The Beanery provides students with an eatery option that is convenient and friendly for early morning coffee, fresh baked goodies and snacks in between classes, or space to study with fellow students. Bonus: You can also purchase Bushnell apparel and merch here!

Katy Lemieux serves as Program Director and Assistant Professor of Nursing at our university, where she is recognized for excellence in teaching, leadership, and dedication to student success. Through her work in the nursing program, she has helped cultivate an environment that challenges and supports students academically, professionally, and personally. 

Katy is known for integrating faith and learning through compassion, mentorship, and a deep commitment to preparing students for lives of service and leadership in healthcare.

We want to congratulate Corey Anderson on receiving the Presidents' Award for Exemplary Staff Performance and Campus Leadership at Spring Commencement!

Corey has faithfully served our university for 20 years as Athletic Director, demonstrating exceptional leadership, character, and dedication to student development. Throughout his tenure, he has fostered an athletics program centered on mentorship, accountability, and holistic student success while advancing the university’s mission and values. 

Corey is widely respected for his humility, steady leadership, and commitment to supporting students, colleagues, and the broader campus community. His leadership contributed to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics conferring upon Bushnell its highest institutional honor, the National School of Character.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, as well as the communities who carry their memories forward.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we wish our Bushnell community well and express our gratitude for those who served with bravery and selflessness.

Congratulations to Annika Poet for receiving the Kendall E. Burke Award, one of Bushnell University's highest honors! 🏆

Annika was presented the award during Spring Commencement, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and received a medallion as a Song Nai Rhee Honors Scholar.

The recipient of the Dr. Kendall E. Burke Award, determined through a vote by the student body and faculty of Bushnell University, is presented with a distinctive Bible during the Spring Commencement service. This award is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, served as a source of inspiration to both students and faculty, embodied high ideals of Christian character, and made significant contributions to the University’s mission. This distinguished honor was named in tribute to the late Dr. Kendall E. Burke’s wholehearted Christian service to the University.
