Campus Ministry

Your Faith. Your People. Your Purpose.

Building Faith Beyond the Classroom

Campus Ministry at Bushnell creates opportunities for students to grow in their faith, build authentic community, and live out their calling through chapel, small groups, service projects, mission trips, pastoral care, and campus-wide ministry events.

Through meaningful worship, spiritual formation, and hands-on service, students are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ while making an impact on campus and beyond.

Bushnell Chapel

Chapel is a place for students, faculty and staff to come together and connect with God, worship as a community, and engage with spiritual formation.

Small Groups

At Bushnell University, Small Groups offer students a community of faith where they can connect, grow, and support one another in their spiritual journeys. Led by fellow students, faculty, or staff, these groups take on different areas of focus, fostering a Christ-centered community committed to prayer.

Local Outreach

Bushnell provides opportunities to serve our Eugene and Springfield community in the name of Jesus, partnering with local ministries and non-profit organizations. Bushnell’s annual Embrace the Community Day and other smaller service events throughout the year raise awareness of the needs in our community and create opportunities to see and tangibly care for our neighbors.

Embrace the Community Day
Embrace the Community Day (ETC Day) is an annual event where we serve our local community. One afternoon every September, Bushnell cancels classes and mobilizes students, faculty, and staff to volunteer at dozens of different organizations in Eugene and Springfield.

Additional Opportunities to Get Involved

Local Churches

While students are formed spiritually in Christian faith in significant ways on campus, we encourage students to find and build a relationship with a local church. Our annual Church Fair in September brings a wide variety of churches onto campus for students to meet and learn more about local congregations.

Pastoral Care

Campus Ministry staff are available whenever a student needs a safe place for prayer, guidance, support, encouragement, mentoring, and nurturing in the Christian faith.

Appointments can be made through the Office of Student Life, 541-684-7345.
