Tysen Buhler ’16 wears many hats as the Grounds Manager for Facilities Services, but he sums it up simply: “If it’s outside, I’m at least somewhat responsible for it.”

Embrace the Community Day gives us an opportunity to collectively pause as a university and connect with our community, while reminding us that serving others isn’t meant for just one day, but every day as Christ did.

Five years of consecutive enrollment growth and a new undergraduate enrollment record!

This fall, Bushnell University welcomed a record 603 undergraduate students, a 6% increase from last year, while overall enrollment grew to 796 students. Across the 2025–26 academic year, Bushnell’s 12-month enrollment reached 950+ students, an 18% increase since 2022. We also welcomed 326 new students to the Bushnell community for a 22% increase from last year!

An author, pastor, Bushnell alum, and President Emeritus of Hope International University, Dr. Lawson gave a message of encouragement to our students, leaving them with these words: “Don’t lie. Be good. Love widely. And grow up in every way into Christ.”
