Clinical Mental Health Counseling Courses and Clinical Training

Curriculum Overview

Bushnell’s 60-credit Clinical Mental Health Counseling curriculum combines graduate coursework with supervised clinical experiences to prepare you for professional counseling practice and Oregon LPC licensure. Throughout the program, you’ll build counseling knowledge, strengthen your clinical skills, and apply what you learn through real-world client experiences.

Clinical Training

Clinical experience is integrated throughout the program and culminates in practicum and internship placements where you’ll complete 700+ hours of supervised clinical training. Students gain hands-on experience through Bushnell’s onsite Counseling Clinic and approved community behavioral health agencies while working with real clients under licensed professional counselors.
