Internship Experience
Business Administration students gain hands-on experience through internships, networking opportunities, leadership activities, and real-world business projects that connect classroom learning to professional environments. You’ll work alongside local businesses, nonprofit organizations, sports organizations, and community partners while developing practical workplace skills in management, marketing, operations, finance, leadership, entrepreneurship, and business communication.
Many students complete internships that help them explore career interests while building professional networks and real-world experience before graduation. Throughout the program, students also participate in collaborative projects, business simulations, presentations, networking events, and leadership opportunities designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

What You’ll Study
How the Curriculum is Structured
The Business Administration curriculum combines core business knowledge with practical application, leadership development, and career-focused learning. You’ll build a strong foundation in accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, business communication, and ethical decision-making while developing analytical and problem-solving skills for modern workplaces.
As you progress through the program, you’ll complete coursework such as Global Business Management, Human Resource Management, Legal and Ethical Issues in Business, Managerial Finance, and Business Strategy and Policy. You’ll also choose a concentration that aligns with your career goals and interests.
Experiential learning is integrated throughout the program through internships, collaborative projects, networking opportunities, presentations, and hands-on business scenarios that help you apply classroom learning in professional environments before graduation.
Qualified seniors may take up to six graduate-level credits as part of Bushnell’s five-year dual degree program, earning both a BS and an MBA on an accelerated timeline.

Combine business strategy with technology-focused coursework in programming, databases, networking, software development, and emerging technologies. General Business Concentration
Build a broad foundation in management, marketing, accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, and leadership while customizing coursework around your career interests. Management & Leadership Concentration
