The Nursing (Pre-Nursing to Accelerated BSN) pathway program at Bushnell University prepares you for a meaningful nursing career grounded in clinical excellence, ethical awareness, and compassionate service. You will build a strong academic foundation through coursework in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, human development, and related health sciences, developing the clinical judgment and communication skills essential for patient-centered care. Bushnell University is regionally accredited by both the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). The ABSN program is affiliated with Bushnell University’s baccalaureate degree program in nursing accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Clinical Practice

You will gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations in a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, specialty hospitals, clinics, schools, and community-based care sites. 

Rotations may take place any day of the week, including day, evening, or night shifts. These experiences provide real-world opportunities to apply classroom knowledge, develop professional skills, and grow as compassionate, ethical nurse leaders.
